The Stillwater Public Library is now available for weddings!
Minnesota brides may already know about the historic Stillwater Courthouse, which hosts many gorgeous weddings, but did you know that the Stillwater Public Library is now available for wedding ceremonies and receptions, too? The library was originally built as a Carnegie Library, and last year (2007) a major expansion project added a scenic terrace from which you can see the St. Croix River from the Minnesota side and now the library has beautiful indoor spaces for weddings. The Stillwater Public Library, in the historic river town of Stillwater, MN, has a serving kitchen and list of caterers is available. The historic Stillwater Library only had about seven weddings last year–because they are just beginning to market the site for weddings, at this time it is often available on highly desirable days and on shorter notice. Indoor capacity is up to 150; the terrace capacity is 300. The rental fee for 5 hours use of meeting rooms A and B, plus the terrace and kitchen, would be about $1105 - see their website for specific details and options.
