My opinion on the best local Minnesota wedding pianists

Sharon Planer, 612-845-1970, is my favorite wedding pianist in the Minneapolis area and I have worked with her many times.  Her fee is $225, and most pianists are about that rate. 

Sharon is very professional, knows just about every song used in weddings, and is friendly and fun.  Information about her rates (and other musician’s rates) are on my wedding music page.

Sharon will use a piano if it’s provided by the site, or she can bring her own keyboard.

Steve Hegman, 612-929-7521  I haven’t worked with Steve, but he comes highly recommended as experienced and very talented.

Also:  Craig Coffman, 952-934-2775.  I haven’t worked with him, but he comes highly recommended as experienced and very easy to work with.

My opinion on great harpists for Minnesota weddings

Most people have never heard a harp in person before, but live, their music is really enchanting and adds a great deal to a wedding ceremony.  In Minnesota, I’ve met many harpists who play for weddings.  One that has a great website with lots of music samples is James Buxton.  His email is Jim@2harps.com and his phone number is 612-849-1233.  

There is another harpist on that website and I’ve never worked with her before, but I do know that James is great.  Both are based in Minneapolis and are willing to travel throughout the Twin Cities area.

James charges approximately $275 to play music for a wedding ceremony and he can also play for the wedding reception, if you’d like.
